Children's Ministry

We want to empower every child to be more like Jesus and to live a life, pleasing and holy, while reaching others for His Kingdom. To accomplish this goal, Sweetwater Assembly has created a wide variety of classes to meet the needs of each child.

Sunday Morning Encounters

Sunday School 9:30-10:15am

Nursery (0-1yr)

Room 209: The nursery offers a safe and nurturing environment for your child so that you can enjoy the service.

Mother's Room

Room 208: In addition to our nursery, we are now providing a room for mothers and their infants. This room will create a quiet space for mothers to tend to their infants while hearing the sermon.

Sonshine (Ages 2-3)

Room 210: Sonshine creates a fun biblical-based learning environment, with interactive biblical lessons, worship, crafts, snack and organized play.

Junior Varsity (Ages 4yr-1st grade)

Room 205 (Sunday School) Room 211 (Worship Service): JV Ministry is designed specifically for ages 4-6 with age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, crafts, and organized play.

Varsity (2nd-6th grade)

Room 207: Varsity ministry creates an age-appropriate learning environment designed specifically for ages 7-11. Varsity students will engage in biblical instruction, offering, communion, worship, and crafts.

Wednesday Evening Encounters

Rainbows (Ages 3-5)

Room 205: Rainbows is an achievement program for preschool children ages 3-5. Rainbows learn the basics of how to serve Jesus every day. The children engage in exciting Bible stories, crafts, and games that are age-appropriate.

Missionettes(Ages 5 and up)

Room 213: Prims and Stars is an achievement based program to help girls learn about truth and grow to be the woman that God has called them to be.

Royal Rangers (Ages 5 and up)

Room 207: Rangers is an achievement based program that seeks to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ-like men and life-long servant leaders.
